We are busy in the background re-building this whole site because someone (totally, possibly and un-provably sort of me) hit the wrong button and deleted it. I'm blaming the elves. Needless to say, MOST of the buttons aren't working yet. Good times in the workshop...
WAKE UP - BE MINDFUL in HEART, SPIRIT, SOUL AND HAVE THE PRESENCE OF MIND TO USE YOUR VOICE TO CHANGE THE WORLD
Let no one else tell you how to be a change maker but listen carefully to everything that is being said. Especially the things you don't agree with. See your own prejudice. Live with the discomfort of your own culpability. Take responsibility for things that you may not believe you're responsible for and see where that leads in your heart. This can be a messy unpacking of shadows that the spiritual world bypasses with platitudes. Don't just send love, light & prayers - get IN there.
Ask the questions - ask why we need to send light when we as humans are natural bearers of it. Ask why there is social injustice. Ask why the environment is being abused and misused. Ask why people shoot others. Ask why children are starving. BE WILLING TO ASK THE QUESTIONS THAT MAKE OUR HEARTS CRY BECAUSE WE CAN FEEL THE PAIN AND THEN ASK HOW WE CAN TRANSFORM IT.
This is a SACRED JOURNEY...
Asking More + Listening More + Learning More + Judging Less is What Being A Spiritual Leader of Conscious Change Is
The key to progress is to be a seeker. Look at what we already believe and ask if it is TRUE. Have we looked objectively at all the information, at all the sides, at all the opinions, at all the facts? Are we avoiding understanding the news, satisfied with the passing post on social media as a our primary means of educating ourselves, because we are 'too sensitive' to truly dive in and find out more? Are we allowing others to dictate how we use our own change making soul? Long before we can change the world we have to understand that the world has already gotten a hold of our own beliefs and created them FOR US.
Spiritual People - It is okay to use our emotions and our great minds to become more effective advocates.
It's good to feel angry. It's good to feel outraged. It's important to dive into the mud. It's part of having a conscious spiritual journey.
Be a leader. Speak up. Speak out. Say things badly and then sincerely apologize and learn to say them better. There is NO RULE that says talking about politics is not spiritual. I'm pretty sure Jesus did that right? This is about WAKING UP AND LIVING CONSCIOUSLY.
MindFULL. Conscious. AWAKENED. Sacred.
