Why do we downplay who we truly are? So we don't appear to be arrogant? So we don't make others feel bad? So that we fit in? Have you ever done this thing where someone is telling you about their terrible day, and even though yours was amazing, you downplay it, you commiserate, or you hold in the amazing awesomeness that just moments before was bursting out of you? Why? Why do we do that? Why do we paint ourselves a different color for the person in front of us? It's totally okay to honor where they are, to acknowledge their challenges and what's going on in their world. AND we can do that without justifying or downplaying or hiding our own successes, our own MASTERY. It's okay to claim your brilliance. #IamAMasterSoul
