Vulnerability Has 2 Sides

But we all think of just the one... the one that is about our shadows, the things we think others will judge us of, the things we judge ourselves for. How vulnerable is it to show up and speak out loud of your flaws right? So we practice becoming more real, more open with where we are, what we struggle with.

The beauty of this kind of vulnerability is that when we can express our shame, it diffuses it. We heal ourselves and we give permission for others to heal. Gorgeous right?

But what about the other side of that coin? What about claiming just how magnificent you are? What about shamelessly coming forward and talking about your superpowers, of your successes, of your triumphs, of things that come super easy for you?

That's vulnerability too. We get shame. We get sharing our flaws - but if we share our glow then we're no longer accessible, relatable, we will lose friends, family won't understand us anymore, we will come off as too good. We will be judged. Some of us remember on a cellular level that we will be persecuted, tortured, killed.

The beauty of this kind of vulnerability is that when we can express our light, it magnifies it. We align with our highest selves and we give permission for others to do the same. Double gorgeous right?

Pay attention... is it easier to complain or to brag?
What kind of vulnerability are you willing to dive into, have more of? Both are equally valid in the path of growth.

What seems scarier to you? Start there.
Start with a little brag, a little reveal. Take steps to your TRUTH each and every day.
