Queen of details and getting stuff done, your Manager helps bring the practical to the forefront, and sitting in conversation with her will keep you focused and on track, even for those of us who tend to operate more in flow.

Leader / Manager
The Leader finishes things for us, project-manages and allocates our inner resources. Life is a process, always changing, always moving, and the Leader keeps things owing both in a big-picture way and in a detail-ori- ented way as well: Here is the big picture, and here is the inspired action we’ll be taking today; here is where our passion lies, and here is the path we’ll be taking.
Can you find evidence of your Leader's voice?
Write down all of your impressions and start giving this voice form.
We'll go into this deeper in the last lesson but think of ONE THING you want to create and keep these questions in mind when you sit with your Manager, ask her / him these simple questions and wait for the answer...

- Write about the last time you felt really organized and clear
- Write about the last time you felt really unorganized and scattered
- Write about someone you know / knew personally who was a great leader. What made them great?
- How important to you is doing the "brain work"?
- If your project were to be properly executed and managed, what would it look like?
- If your project were to be IMproperly executed and managed, what would it look like?
- Write about what it would feel like to have all the t's crossed and i's dotted
- Do you think doing the detail work will help you? won't help you? is evil? is fun?
Write down all of your impressions and start giving this voice form.
- Notice - as you live through those stories, what is the voice who is responding. Notice how it sounds, feels. Imagine what she/he looks like. Assign it an avatar. Feel what that Manager / Leader energy feels like. I always imagine a regal figure with scrolls of checklists ready to roll.

- What part of this project feels misaligned, needs more organization or more structure?
